Howdy! Its been awhile, so welcome back!!
Instead of doing separate posts for my latest adventures, I figured I'd save us all some time and just do a short recap of each and combine it into one post- with lots of pictures!!
So buckle up and enjoy the adventures of past few months!

March:
My brother, Stephen came to visit for his spring break!
It was wonderful having him here and gave me the perfect excuse to play tourist in Warsaw. We explored Old Town, The Warsaw Zoo*, took a tour to Auschwitz & Berkinau, and a tour to The Wolfs Lair.
My FAVORITE thing we did was the tour of The Wolfs Lair. I wasn't sure what to expect, as it was something Stephen wanted to see. We lucked out with the BEST guide who let us break all the rules. We were able to go inside the bunker ruins, as well as climb on to the roof of one of the bunkers! We spent more time in the car to and from the site than we did actually there, but it was SOOOOOOO worth it!
*The Movie "The Zoo Keepers Wife" was based on the true story of the family that owned and operated the zoo during WWII. This is the Original house that is still on the grounds of the Zoo.
Stephen hates penguins, so I made him take a picture.

April:
I spent Easter break (and Lauren's 25th birthday) in London!
It was a "stay-cation" for Lauren and vacation for me! We stayed a hotel close to the O2 and had adventure after adventure during my 4.5 day trip. We went to see Aladdin on London's version of "Broadway", did some shopping, ate lots of yummy food (Hellooo Nando's & Shake Shack), went for drinks, explored Kew Royal Botanical Gardens, had afternoon tea and spent Easter Sunday in Hyde Park. It was a fantastic London trip with so many amazing memories with my best friend.
Lauren's nephew made me a welcome to London sign!
Peter Pan statue in Hyde Park
Afternoon Tea!

May:
Poland has what they call "May Weekend" the first part of May (two national holidays group together)! I took full advantage and went to Switzerland with Lauren! It was a very much needed break (and yes it was only a week after my London trip! haha). We stayed in Zurich and explored as much as we could. We knew that Switzerland was going to be expensive, but we didn't realize just how much until we got there! You think Starbucks in America is expensive?! Pshhhhh its nearly triple the price in Switzerland!... But with that said we still had a fabulous time! We walked the streets of the Old Town, spent an afternoon at a ThermalBad (hot springs) with a rooftop view of the city (and the EF head quarters- my company from China and San Diego), took the train to Lucerne and explored, Went to the Zurich Zoo (voted the best in Europe), ate fondue, took a walking tour of various Chocolate shops, and visited the FIFA World Museum.
first day selfie!
Day trip to Lucerne!
I mean. Isn't this just beautiful!!

Update:
As for now, I am gearing up for the end of the school year here in Poland. I will have classes until the 17th of June! I know the students are looking forward to summer break just as much as I am! June will also bring my Mom to Poland, which will start our month-ish (just over a month actually) of travel! As a birthday/mothers day surprise (that she knows about now) I will be taking mom to Salzburg, Austria. This is where they filmed "The Sound of Music"- moms favorite movie. You can bet money that we WILL be singing all the songs as we partake in the official Sound of Music tour! ๐๐
Our adventures will also take us to Hungary (Budapest), Ireland (Shannon, Galway & Dublin), Germany (back to Berlin-can't wait to eat ALL the currywurst!), Spain (Barcelona & Mallorca), and Sweden (Stockholm) before we head home. Dad is meeting up with us in Spain for the second half of the trip! Please send any and all recommendations if you have been to any of these locations.
