Hello!
Ni Hao!
Dzień dobry! (Polish for Hello)
And welcome back!
As you may notice, we have a new name to go along with my new adventure!
In just over 36 hours I will be on my way to Warsaw, Poland and I already have a few adventures lined up! 😉
Here's a quick recap on my 11 months in San Diego for those interested.
I moved out to San Diego on December 29th, 2017 and started my job on January 3rd, 2018!
A
good friend from college, who is from San Diego, helped me meet my
roommates! I lucked out with amazing rent and a nice place to live! The
house even included a pool and a dog! 🤗
While
living in San Diego I was still working with EF, I just had older
students. I had students of all level, ages (14 - 87) and nationalities.
I thoroughly enjoyed teaching my students and getting to know my
co-workers! I have made some amazing friends and will be visiting a few
students once I get to Europe.
Ultimately
I realized that as much as I loved my students in San Diego, I really
missed teaching little kids. And of course I had the never ending itch
to travel again. So thanks to Dave's ESL Cafe I found an amazing
position in Poland. I applied, interviewed and accepted! I am beyond
excited for this new adventure and all that Europe has to offer!
If
any of my readers/family have tips or advice for Poland and Europe in
general, please let me know! I can't wait to land in Warsaw and hit the
ground running! And as always if you happen to find yourself itching for
an adventure in Europe- Let me know, and I'd be happy to join you! 😉
Until next time,
Adios for now,
Margaret💛
